James “Jim” R. Weber, 63, Galion, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Jim was born in Willard, Ohio on November 19, 1954 to the late Raymond and Shirley (Luscher) Weber. He married Debora K. (Looker) Weber on September, 21, 1996 in and she survives him.

He started as a mechanic at his father’s garage and later was employed by Donley Ford. Jim was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Galion. One of Jim’s many loves was “Cars” and he would talk your leg off about them. Jim was a Graduate of Galion High School, Class of 1973. Jim loves spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He loved watching classic television shows, such as Gunsmoke and M.A.S.H.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his son, Jeremy and Amber Looker of Galion; grandchildren, Zachary and Aingeal Looker; sister, Linda Hamilton of Bloomville; brother, Jack Weber of Crestline.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Weber.

A gathering will be held at the Weber’s home at a later date.
