Phyllis Catherine (Parr) Ford

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Phyllis Catherine Ford, who departed from this world on March 21, 2024. Born on July 8, 1948, to Elden and Avis (Price) Parr.

Phyllis married Ronald Ford and spent 47 wonderful years together.

Phyllis's abiding faith led her to become an integral part of the Free Will Baptist Church in Bucyrus, where she found joy in participating in various activities, such as singing in the choir and engaging with the ladies' auxiliary group. Her spirit of service and dedication will forever be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Known for her passion for collecting, Phyllis amassed a notable assortment of owls, bears, and TY Beanie Babies - treasures that brought her immense delight and shared joy with those around her. Her unwavering love for a refreshing Coke and the timeless beauty of red roses further showcased her vibrant personality and thoughtful nature.

Her memory will be perpetuated through the countless lives she touched and the legacy of kindness she left behind.

May Phyllis Ford rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever enshrined in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Left to cherish the memories of Phyllis are her siblings; Judy Ball of Galion, Phillip (Leona) Parr of Galion, Rebecca E. Fournier of Galion and Kenny Parr of Galion, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with Phyllis’s parent’s, she is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ford and brother, John Parr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
