Robert Edward Law

Robert Edward Law, 86, formerly of Crestline, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, in Englewood, Florida.

Bob was born August 2, 1937, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, moving to Crestline, Ohio as a young child and spending the majority of his life there, before retiring to Englewood, Florida.

Bob attended The Ohio State University, majoring in Floriculture and participating in ROTC. He was a lifelong Buckeye fan, was very involved in the Crestline community, and owned and operated Law the Florist and Greenhouses, Bob was active in Kiwanis and Crestline United Methodist Church, served as a board member on Crestline Community Railroad Foundation and the Bucyrus area community foundation. He loved nature and was happiest outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Bob was survived by wife Patsy (Sears) Law, children Chad (Sherry) Law, Kent Law, Nicole (Danny) Fuson, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents Raymond Jewel Law and Marjorie Victoria Swift, brother Raymond Thomas Law, and sister Patricia Ann Smith.

Friends may call on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 PM immediately following the visitation.
