Connie J. Jacobs

Connie J. Jacobs, 61, of Crestline, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home after failing health for the last year and a half.

Connie was born in Mt. Gilead, Ohio on September 5, 1957 to the late Gene Barker and Ruth (Rouse) Barker of Galion. She married Ned A. "Tiny" Jacobs Jr. on May 24,1974 and he survives her.

Connie worked for the Malabar Schools in Mansfield for many years. She loved to go to the beach and enjoy the sunshine. When not on the beach, she loved to lay around the pool and relax. Connie loved her clothes and enjoyed shopping for new things as often as she was able. Connie was the most tender-hearted person and would do anything for anyone. She loved spending as much time as she could with her family and friends. Her pride and joys were her grandsons, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Jamie (T.J.) Kruger of Galion; grandsons, Nick Kruger and Tyler Kruger; sister, Judy (Ron) Busler of Iberia; brothers, Richard Barker of Mansfield, Jim (Jayne) Barker of Ontario, Bob (Fran) Barker of Iberia; special nieces, Jackie Poston and Misty Grove; and a special friend, Suzy Spencer.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald 'Doc" Barker, Jerry Barker, and Danny Barker.

Friends may call Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 W. Main Street, Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Crestline, with Deacon Greg Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) in care of the funeral home.
