Donna Jean (Godwin) Gregory

Donna Jean Gregory, 65, of Crestline, passed away at Shelby Pointe on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Shelby, after a long illness.

Jean was born in West Union, Ohio on September 15, 1953 to the late William and Elma (Bridges) Godwin. She married John R. Gregory on May 29, 1971 and he survives.

Jean was owner of Geneseis Dreams, an in-home service for the developmentally disabled. Jean loved her grandchildren and was an avid country music fan.

Jean is survived by her husband, John Gregory; daughter, Samantha (Matt) Sutter of Perrysburg; sons, John Gregory, Jr. of Marion, and Josh (Ellen) Gregory of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ainsley Sutter, Courtney Sutter, Lindsey Sutter, Jackson Gregory, Sidney Sutter, and Emmalin Gregory; siblings, Diane Lambert of Mississippi, Carol (Mike) Hunter of Columbus, Tim Godwin of Crestline, and Violet (Bob) LaBrecque of Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Godwin and Stanley Godwin.

A memorial service in Jean's memory will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
