Glen Reynolds, 82, passed away on January 13, 2020 at his home in Crestline, after a short bout with cancer.
Glen was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on August 29, 1937 to the late Roy and Anzona (Holbrook) Reynolds. He married Goldie (Goodall) Reynolds on May 16, 1959 and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2004.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and his garden. He worked at Peabody in Galion for over 30 years.
Glen is survived by his 5 children; daughter, Peggy (Tim) Swartz of Shiloh; son Mark (Kathy) Reynolds of Crestline; son Darin Reynolds of Columbus; son Todd Reynolds, (Jen) of Florida; and son Ryan Reynolds of Crestline; 7 grandchildren; Josh and Luke Swartz, Seth Miller, Nick and Brooke Reynolds, Madie and Simon Reynolds; 2 sisters, Helen Bear of Olive Hill, KY, Lenora Moore of Wortland, KY; 2 brothers, Grover Reynolds of Crestline and Ron and Rhonda Reynolds of Olive Hill, KY; and brother-in-law, Ron Winters of TN,. OH-IO!
In addition to his wife of 43 years of marriage, Glen was preceded in death by his sisters; Viola and Garnet Reynolds, Juanita Binion and Mollie Winters; a brother, Bill Reynolds and a cherished granddaughter, Christal Rae Reynolds.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Crestline. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of granddaughter, Christal Rae Reynolds.
