Jeffrey D. Scarbro

According to Jeff, he was "drinking the high life and living the low life". Jeffrey D. Scarbro, 58, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2019 at Ohio Health Mansfield.

Jeff was born in Crestline, OH on December 3, 1960 to Emmitt Scarbro, Jr. and Janet M. (Lilly) Walnum. He married Missy A. (Coyne) Scarbro on December 31, 2013.

Jeff worked as a Union Sheet Metal Worker at Ontario Mechanical. Starting in 1979, he would have celebrated 40 years with the company on October 25th. He was a member of the Local Union Sheet Metal # 33. Jeff enjoyed spending time at the Mid Ohio Race Track with family and friends. He also loved going to the beach, fishing and deer hunting.

Jeff is survived by wife Missy Scarbro; mother and stepfather, Janet and Loren Walnum of Crestline; son, Jeffrey (Katelyn) Scarbro of Melbourne, FL; daughter, Jenna (Kodi) Sell of Crestline; stepdaughters, Charity (Curtis) Montgomery of Mansfield and Bridgette (James Baker) Covey of Lexington; granddaughter, Layla Sell; seven step-grandchildren; and brother, Randy (Gerri) Scarbro of Bucyrus.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, John Scarbro; and sister, Sara Fender.

The family will celebrate Jeff's life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Missy and Jeff's home. The celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. and will continue until everyone goes home!
