Murl E. Straub

Murl E. Straub, 71, of Crestline, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Avita Ontario Hospital, Ontario.

Murl was born in Crestline, OH on November 6, 1947 to Merle E. and Jeannette (Farnworth) Straub.

Murl graduated from Crestline High School in 1966. She retired from the Crestline Library in 2009. A Rock N Roll singer, Murl was in the Orpheus Band in the 70's and in the 80's with the Calico Band. She loved spending time at Lake Erie and spending time with her dog, Tibby. Murl was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and best friend who will be dearly missed.

Murl is survived by son, Scott (Ronda) Weisman of Mansfield; daughter, Lisa (Paul Miller) Weisman of Crestline; grand sons, Alex and Zach; and granddaughter, Emma.

Murl was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bruce and Harry "Bud" Straub.
