Naomi F. Sesco, 89, of Crestline, passed away from declining health on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Naomi was born in Clearfield, KY on January 10, 1930 to the late William and Laura Etta (Hall) Lambert. She married Elmon “Junior” Sesco, Jr. on July 24, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1984.
Naomi was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Naomi was a lifetime member the VFW Post 2920, Auxiliary, Crestline, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #859, Auxiliary, Crestline.
She is survived by her son, Larry and Emmy Sesco, Mansfield, her two daughters, Jennifer Harsh, Galion, Frances and Raymond Gekler, Crestline, 5 grandchildren; Josie Hughes,
Eric Gekler, Carrie Hansen, Todd and Andrea Gekler, Jason and Brooke Harsh, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings; Asa and Ima Lambert, Taylor, MI, Paul and Virginia Lambert, Taylor, MI, Larry and Patty Lambert, Morehead, KY, Virginia and Gene Pennington, Maysville, KY, several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her 3 brothers, James Lambert, Wardson Lambert, and Gary Lambert.
Friends may call Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Crawford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
