Rene D. Patterson, 57, of Galion, died Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Signature Healthcare, Galion, after a long illness.
Rene was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on August 3, 1961 to the late James M. Patterson and Sarah (Miller) Moore of Tiffin.
Rene was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. She was an animal lover of all kinds. Rene was a free-spirited person and would just go with the flow of things to see where life was going to lead her. You knew when you met with Rene it wasn't going to be a short visit as she loved to talk and had that special gift to gab.
In addition to her mother, Sarah Moore of Tiffin, she is survived by her children, James Henry of Texas, David Henry (Jennifer Burnett) of Bucyrus, Andrew Mead of Columbus and Terry Mead; 3 grandchildren; her siblings, Jim (Tammy) Patterson of Galion, Michelle (Bill) Watson of Attica, Tina Johanson of Marietta, Ken (Juanita) Patterson of Virginia, Alicia (Reese) Martin of Tiro and Susie Nicholson of Marietta.
Friends may call Monday, December 3, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion.
