Sandi Sue (McCollum) Watts-Shelton

Saundra “Sandi” Sue Watts-Shelton, 81, of Galion, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 27, 2019 at Signature Health Care, Galion.

Sandi was born in Ashland, Ohio on September 9, 1938 to the late Charles McCollum and Kathryn (Welsh) McCollum.

Sandi was a woman of faith. She attended church and sang hymns regularly. Sandi enjoyed painting, nature and the ocean. Sandi made everyone feel special and would give you the shirt off her back. She was bigger than life in everything that she did. Sandi was a huge Elvis fan. She was honored into the Nursing Home Hall of Fame for her volunteerism and being an unofficial greeter. Sandi’s family was the most important part of her life.

Sandi is survived by her children, Lu (Michael J.) Radebaugh, Shelby, Ken (Kathy) Watts, Crestline, Russell Watts, Crestline, Lori (Carl Carroll) Watts, Crestline, Lisa (Ramon) Humphrey, Ontario, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Diana Wyatt, Florida, Jakki (Gary) Brinker, Florida, Anita (Jim) Foote, Medina, Chuck (Ann) McCollum, Florida, many nieces and nephews.

Sandi was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Carla Watts, grandchild, Scottie Gekler, and sister, Cheryl Rowland.

Friends may call on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main Street, Crestline, Ohio until the time of the funeral. Services will be held at 6:00 PM with Chaplain Bill Seymour, officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at Stats Sports Bar, 101 S. Seltzer Street, Crestline, Ohio.
