Sean A. Vincent, 51, of Crestline, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Sean was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 1, 1968 to the late Andrew J. and Gloria E. (Dorobiala) Vincent. He married Roberta (Carpenter) Vincent on July 11, 1989 and she survives him.
Sean was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Crestline. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Being a self-proclaimed “gearhead”, Sean loved working on cars and motorcycles. He was very passionate about music and was involved in a youth ministry, where he was famous for his Rubber Duckie Song. Sean also enjoyed cycling, and participated in an additional youth ministry, Spoke Folk. Recently, Sean was a member of the rock band, Surje. His greatest joy were his children and granddaughter. Sean’s last message to his friends and loved ones was “Live Long and Prosper.”
In addition to his wife, Roberta, he is survived by his children; JoAnna (Dustin) Burk, Mansfield, Seth Vincent, Crestline, Robert Vincent, Crestline, Jami (Brandon) Fadley, Tiffin, James Carpenter, Buckeye Lake, Isaiah Lee, Crestline; his granddaughter and favorite person, Harper Burk; his brother Daniel (Barbara) Vincent, Elk Grove, IL, his two sisters; Andrea (Henry) Ancy, Villa Park, IL; and Kelly (Mark) Marcelles, Troy, WI.

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 North Thoman St., Crestline on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, where full military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Navy and the Galion Crestline Veterans Military Funeral Detail.
