Vernon Warren, 92, of Crestline, died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.
Vernon was born August 15, 1926 to the late Lathe and Anna (Gray) Warren, Sr. He married Gloria J. (Chapman) Warren in March, 1952, and she preceded him in death.
Vernon retired from General Motors in 1988 after 31 years of service as a Die Setter. He attended the Crestline Church of the Nazarene. Loving the outdoors, Vernon was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed hunting deer, bear and antelope. Vernon took many trips to Canada, Michigan, Colorado and Montana to pursue his passion for hunting. He was also a skilled woodworker.
He is survived by his three daughters, Sarah and Jesse Bayless of Bucyrus, Deborah Copeland of Marblehead, and Brenda Guldan of Golden, CO; son-in-law, Richard Miller of Crestline; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Leroy Warren of Michigan City, IN, Peggy and Don of Virginia, and Wilma of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Miller; great granddaughter, Amanda Jeffries; and brothers, Harold, Lathe Jr. and JB Warren.
Inurnment will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, with Rev. Scott Buell officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
