Agnes J. Hensley, 84, of Crestline, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2020, at Signature Nursing Home, in Galion, OH.
Agnes was born in Olive Hill, KY on June 17, 1935 to the late Cecil and Goldie (Duff) Nolen. She married Charles Hensley on June 9, 1962 and he survives her.
Agnes was an active member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Crestline, where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the church choir. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Agnes loved cooking and canning for her family. She also enjoyed her garage and yard sale finds.
In addition to her husband, Agnes is survived by her sons, Jeff (Lisa) James, Ontario; and Larry (Karen) Hensley, Lenoir City, TN; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Madeline Stone, Mansfield; Cegar (Lydia) Nolen, Shelby; Evelyn (Larry) Guill, Mansfield; Judy (Tom) Guill, Shelby; and Pam (Keith) Scaggs, Mansfield,
Agnes was preceded in death by her brother Carl Nolen; and brother-in-law Bob Stone.
A private family service will be held in Agnes’s memory.
