Alice Bonita Rambo, 86, of Crestline, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Altercare Nursing Home, Bucyrus on November 14, 2019 after a lengthy battle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.
Alice was born in Beaver County, PA on May 15, 1933 to the late Elmer and Thelma (Ball) Powell. She married Harold Rambo, Sr. on March 25, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2015.
Alice was a member of the Nazarene Church in Crestline and attended the Grace Brethren Church in Galion. Alice enjoyed being outdoors, she loved going for walks, bird watching and gardening. Alice was a big card player, enjoyed Bingo and went to all garage sales. She enjoyed hosting all the holiday dinners. She would always send birthday cards to all her friends and family. She loved her dog Abby.
Alice is survived by her children, Karen (Norm) Nelson, Lexington, OH, Mary Lou (Dave) Freed, Beaver Falls, PA, Harold Rambo, Jr., Crestline, OH, Mark (Kathy) Rambo, St. Joseph, MO, Dayne Rambo, Las Vegas, NV, Gretchen (Rex) Zimmer, Westminster, CO, 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 13 brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her son, Larry L. Rambo, daughter, Heidi Rambo, and two siblings.
There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date.
