Anna Eldridge Obituary

Anna May Eldridge, 90, of Crestline, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the Crestline Nursing Home.

Anna was born in Mansfield, on July 18, 1930, to the late George and Edna (Trash) Perry. She married Loren C. "Pete" Eldridge on February 25, 1950, and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2009.

Anna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crestline. She worked all her life by digging potatoes at the age of 9, and then working in a factory at the age of 15. She continued to work at the former North Electric & ITT North in Galion for 10 years; Geauga Plastics in Crestline for 22 years; and retired in 2002, after 12 years of working at the former Med Central/Crestline in the Dietary Department. In between her work schedule, she found time to be a Sunday School Teacher. Anna was the "rock" of her family. She loved to cook and cherished every moment she spent taking care of her family. Anna's favorite candy was Hershey kisses.

Anna is survived by her children; Marilyn Johnson of Crestline; Edward "Loren" (Kathy) Eldridge, of Crestline; Randy (Cheryl) Eldridge, of Crestline; Linda (Jeff) Cerreta, of Galion; eight grandchildren; Steven, Kimberly, Shannon, Ryan, Caitlin, Anthony, Clinton, Casey; twenty-two great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; brother, Edward (Barb) Perry, of Crestline; and her sister, Mary Clevenger, Galion.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Perry and her two sisters, Shirley Perry and Marie Morrow.
