Anna Belle Heimlich, 83, of Galion passed away on March 9, 2021 at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Ann was born in Ironton, Ohio on June 16, 1937 to John and Audrey (Abrams) Henry. Ann married William Troy Sparks and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1974. Ann then re-married Charles Heimlich on June 16, 1992 and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2007.
In Ann's younger years she lived in Crestline but has made her home in Galion for the past 64 years. She had a wonderful life as a Homemaker taking care and raising her family. Ann was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #303, Galion and a member of the Red Hats Society. She was an avid card player. Ann attended the Assembly of God Church in Galion.
Ann is survived by her son, Rev. Steven (Debbie) Sparks of New Philadelphia; her step-son, Steven (Becky) Heimlich of Oak Harbor; her two step-daughters, Linda Bogolis and Laurie Snyder, both of Mansfield; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Nancy Bullions and Patricia Numn, both of Bucyrus; and her daughter-in-law, Glinda Sparks.
Ann was preceded in death by her husbands, William Sparks and Charles Heimlich; her sons, John Sparks and Timothy Sparks; her brothers, John Henry, Raymond Henry, Curtis Henry, Robert Henry; and her sisters, Della Henry and Betty Steele.
Friends may call on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be at 10:30am on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Galion with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Funeral service will also be available for viewing on the "Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home - LIVE" Facebook page. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Humane Society.
In accordance with the Governor's mandate, masks and social distancing will be required to enter the funeral home.
