Barbara Lee (Langford) Maddy

Barbara Lee Maddy, beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, 78, passed away on February 9, 2023, at her residence in Crestline.

Barbara was born in Miami, FL on February 10, 1944, to the late Leemon and Mary (LaRue) Langford. She married James Maddy on December 19, 1970, and he preceded her in death on May 26, 2014.

Barbara worked at Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville for fifteen years, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed, collecting dolls, china and lighthouses. Barbara cherished her time spent with family.

Barbara is survived by her three children; Gregory (Jennifer) Maddy of Caledonia, David (Jessica) Maddy of Mansfield, Kat (Josh) Grassman of Perrysville; seven grandchildren, Jenna Maddy, Jacob Maddy, Caden Grassman, Jocelyn Grassman, Isabella Grassman, Alexander Maddy, Declan Maddy; her siblings; Jack (Ellie) Langford of Allgood, TN, and Lois (Bill) Dull of India; and two half-sisters, Betty (Ken) Layer; and Joyce Mitchell, of Fillmore, CA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother Joe Langford.
