Barbara Joyce Simmons

Barbara Joyce Simmons, 75, of Galion passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her home after a short illness.

Barbara was born in Loudonville, Ohio on March 30, 1947 to the late Harry "Nick" E. and Leola (Proper) Wigton. She married Kenneth Simmons on September 25, 1993 and he survives her.

Barbara took great pride in cooking and cake decorating. She graduated from West Holmes High School, Class of 1965. Barbara enjoyed crafts of all kinds.

In addition to her husband Ken, Barbara is survived by her sons, David (Sabrina) Darling of Vilonia, Arkansas, Dennis Darling of Warsaw, Ohio; daughter, Debra Darling of Columbus; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay and Alice Jean, both of Arkansas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Leola; her sister, Linda; and a brother, Joe.
