Barbara Jane (Pritchard) Zanglein

Barbara Jane Zanglein, 93, of Galion, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. Barbara was born on October 4, 1931, to the late William and Christine (Artman) Pritchard in Locust Dale, PA.
 

She graduated from Prospect Heights High School, Brooklyn, NY, in 1949. Barbara later completed her Bachelor's of Nursing degree also in Brooklyn. She lived a life rich in love and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She cherished her family wholeheartedly.
 

A great walker and an avid swimmer, Barbara found joy in staying active, whether in the water or enjoying peaceful strolls. She loved spending time by the ocean, often reminiscing about her travels and the adventures that filled her life. Her creative spirit flourished as she enjoyed sewing and knitting hats and gloves, gifts that will forever warm the hearts of her loved ones.
 

Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Joan Eichler, son-in-law Steve Wohlrab, grandsons, Spencer and Colin Wohlrab, nephews, Karl (Kay) Eichler and Kurt Eichler.
 

Along with Barbara's parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jayne Zanglein.
