Beverly Jane Beck, 89, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at her home in Leesville.
Beverly was born in Crestline on January 30, 1932 to the late William and Carlotta (McKean) Eckert. She married Ronald “Whitey” Beck on July 22, 1951 and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1995.
Beverly graduated from Leesville High School, Class of 1950. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, Leesville where she was a Sunday School Teacher, pianist and loved her church family. Beverly enjoyed sewing, playing cards with her monthly card group, doing word search and working on puzzles. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Beverly was a Colonel Crawford sports follower, an avid Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s activities. Her family was very important to her including her dog grandchildren. Beverly loved going on family vacations to Canada and the Outer Banks.
Beverly is survived by her children; Rick (Tracie) Beck, Crestline, Vicki (Jim) Gray, Bucyrus, five grandchildren; Andrew (Kari) Gray, Mallory (Trevor) Seif, Marty (Ben) Grylewicz, Alex Beck, Lindsay Beck and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her siblings, Bessie McFarland, Robert Eckert, Leila Witter, Romayne Witter, Wayne Eckert, Alice Eckert, Charles Eckert, and Ike Eckert.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Leesville or the Crawford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
