Billy Dean Wilson, 87 of Crestline, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Galion Meadows. Billy was born on April 25, 1938, in Springfield, TN to the late John and Sally (Tribute) Wilson.
Billy was a dedicated employee for Crestline Public Library, spending 30 years servicing the yard or other small projects that needed completion.
Billy was known for his green thumb and passion for gardening. He loved planting and tending to his garden, sharing not just his harvest, but also his gardening wisdom with those around him. He took great pride in teaching his family the art of gardening, passing on his knowledge and joy for the outdoors. His love for riding his bicycle and working outside added to the vibrant life he lived and inspired many to embrace nature's beauty.
Billy is survived by his siblings; Ronald "Bo" Morgan and Joyce (Clyde) Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews including Beverly Montgomery of Galion.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his siblings; Leonard Morgan, Brenda "Peggy" Morgan, Barbara Chatman and Louis "Cedar" Morgan; and nephew, Joseph Chatman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
