Brandon Lee Saum

Recently our family lost someone very special to us all: a son, brother, uncle, cousin and a father. Brandon L. Saum, 30, of Crestline, passed away on March 17, 2021 at his home.

Brandon was born in Mansfield on January 25, 1991 to Mark and Eva (Crawford) Saum of Crestline.

Brandon graduated from Crestline High School, Class of 2009. He enjoyed playing games online with this nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his paternal grandmother, Martha Knapp; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Dean; two sons; Gabriel Saum and Jayce Saum; brother, Levi (Kara) Saum, Crestline; sister, Stephanie (Matt) Hancock, Albertville, AL; sister-in-law, Andrea Saum, Crestline; nieces and nephews; Kaylee, Christopher, Randall Jr., Adrianna, and Carson Saum; Kaden and Ashton Smith; and Charlotte Saum.

Brandon was preceded in death by his brother, Randall F. Saum; his paternal grandfather, Barney F. Saum; and his maternal grandfather, Paul Lowe.

Friends may call on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM in Fairview Cemetery in Galion with Sister Shawna Lewis officiating.

In accordance with the Governor's mandate, masks will be required to enter the funeral home.
