Brenda Carolyn Ensman, 76 of Galion, previously of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Signature Healthcare in Galion.
Brenda was born on April 22, 1948, in Pike County, Ohio to the late Harold and Christina (Milliron) Pogue. She married Norbert “Norm” Ensman on March 30, 1973, and they spent a wonderful 51 years of marriage together.
Brenda was a true believer in the joy of simple pleasures. She cherished camping trips with family and friends, relishing the time spent in nature. Garage sales were her second home, where she could haggle and hunt for treasures that often ended up as cherished gifts for her loved ones. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, whether it was a casual cookout or a holiday gathering. Brenda's laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Brenda’s memories are her husband Norbert “Norm” Ensman, of Myrtle Beach, SC; her children; Terrie (Larry) Holloway and Sherman “Clay” Perry Jr., Kevin (Shelly) Ensman and Bryant (Cindy) Ensman; her grandchildren; Brittani (Nick) Yoxthiemer, Andreea (Cory) Monica, Chyanne (Wesley) Gates, Kammerin Holloway, Kenddel Holloway, Jessica (Jeff) Stoulil, Hailey Ensman, Gillian Ensman, Nicole (Jayson) James, Sarah (Jarrett) Denholm, and Valerie (Billy) Reed; and 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her infant brother, Mark Travis Pogue.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
