Carl Andrew Damron

Carl Andrew Damron, 61, of Galion passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Galion Pointe.

Carl was born in Galion, Ohio on October 12, 1958 to the late Willis A. and Della M. (Johnson) Damron.

Carl enjoyed watching NASCAR and horse races with his brother Mike. Carl also enjoyed watching football and classic Western movies. He was so proud of his daughter, Carla, and loved spending time with his grandchildren, the joys of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Carla Darnell, Galion, grandchildren Gabby Harper and Ryder Woods, his brothers Don Damron of Tennessee, Gary Damron, Galion, Dean (Mary) Damron, of Bucyrus, Noah Slone, Texas, sister Vanessa (Chet) Butler, Bucyrus, and brother Mike Damron of Galion, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Tim Damron, Ronnie Damron, and Paul Yates.

Memorial calling hours are Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion.
