Carrie Ann Snyder, 56, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her residence in Crestline.
Carrie was born in Galion on November 13, 1968, to the late Paul Snyder and her surviving mother, Genevieve (Newport) Snyder.
Most recently, Carrie enjoyed working as a hostess at Granny's Kitchen in Galion, where her tireless work ethic and friendly demeanor earned her the respect and affection of her colleagues and patrons alike. Known for her unique laugh and candid nature, she was a person who spoke her mind and embraced life fully, often filling a room with laughter and joy. Carrie had a special way of making everyone around her feel valued and loved.
Family was the centerpiece of Carrie's life. She cherished her relationships with her children, Zachary (Kayla) Snyder and Hali (Cody Smith) Snyder, as well as her grandchildren, Caleb and Carter Snyder. For Carrie, there was nothing more fulfilling than spending quality time with her family, and she made it a point to call her mother, Genevieve Snyder, every day.
Carrie is also survived by her sister, Sherry (Matt) Leibengood, her brother, Eddy (Michelle) Snyder, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her as a hardworking, non-judgmental woman whose love for her family was boundless.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, Paul Snyder.
