Catherine Lynn (Smith) Whited

Catherine Lynn Whited, 72, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at OhioHealth Mansfield.

Catherine was born in Galion, on March 4, 1950, to the late Roy "Whitey" and Sara (Palmer) Smith.

Catherine enjoyed spending time with her significant other Karen Conley of 30 years.  She also worked for Life Touch for 30 plus years.  You could often find her sipping on a Diet Coke watching Law and Order or Judge Judy.  Catherine enjoyed her gambling trips, especially her trips to Las Vegas.

In addition to Karen, Catherine is survived by her children; Tabitha Conley of Galion, Nick Whited of Mansfield, Robbie Powers, Heidi Powers of Mansfield, and Kelly Scott; and sister Jennie Smith of Van Buren, Indiana; and 2 Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Bruce, and Brian Smith.

Friends may call on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home 303 Portland Way North, Galion.  The funeral service will immediately follow with Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
