Cheryl Lea Stover, 60, of Crestline, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on June 4, 2020 at Ohio Health Mansfield, Mansfield, Ohio.
Cheryl was born in Morrow County, Ohio on August 24, 1959 to the late Kenneth R. and H. Marlene (Bachelder) Williams. She married Warren E. Stover on October 1, 1983 and he survives her.
She graduated from Northmor High School in 1977. Cheryl was a member of the Calvary United Church of Christ, Crestline where she retired as the Administrative Assistant. Cheryl loved being active in her church and volunteered with various church organizations. Over the years she babysat 100’s of children. Her grandchildren and family were her life. An avid sports fan, she had a special love for Jim Thome. Cheryl was proud to be a Northmor Knight but had a special place in her heart for the Crestline Bulldogs. She enjoyed volunteering for the Crestline Athletic Department. Cheryl loved to decorate for every holiday.
In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her three sons, Cory (Annalee) Stover, Mansfield, Ryan Stover, Crestline, T.J. (Taryn) Stover, Johnstown; her grandchildren, Corbyn, Luna, Kensley, Bennett, Sylvia, Graham; her brother, Keith (Donna) Williams, Montpelier, IN; her sister, Denise (Roy "Butch") Young, Bucyrus; uncle, Don Walters, Crestline; and sister-in-law, Melba (Scott) Hamilton, Shelby and her special companion, Ella, her dog.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, June 12, 2020 at Calvary United Church of Christ, 511 Heiser Court, Crestline. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM Friday at Calvary United Church of Christ with pastor Diane Thomas and Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
