Connie (Mabe) Finnegan

Connie S. Finnegan, 65, of Mansfield earned her wings on April 22, 2019. Connie passed away at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.

Connie was born in Shelby, Ohio on May 16, 1953 to the late Graham and Peggy Mabe. She married David K. Finnegan on April 24, 1971.


Connie graduated in 1971 from Shelby High School and Pioneer Joint Vocational School. She retired from State Farm as a Senior Claims Processor. Connie collected Precious Moments. She enjoyed cooking, taking long walks, and shopping. Her greatest love was being a mom. Her favorite indulgence was drinking her Diet Coke. An animal lover, Connie cared for her cats and dogs, Missy, Daisy, Chloe, Linus, Sadie and Chance.

Connie is survived by husband, David Finnegan; sons, Kevin (Tina) Finnegan, Chris (Misty) Finnegan, and Kelly Finnegan; and grandchildren, Ashley (Johnathon) Finnegan Debo, Amber (Kaleb Ayers) Finnegan, Shane Finnegan, Kaci Finnegan, Morgan Finnegan, and Killian Finnegan.
