Corey Ray Thornsberry

Corey R. Thornsberry, 57 of Crestline, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 25, 2023, after a brief battle of cancer.
Corey was born on May 22, 1965, in Galion, Ohio to Philip and the late Sondra (Hoover) Thornsberry.
Corey was a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School, class of 1983. He was employed by Global Tron of Mansfield as a telecommunications tech and cable installer. He was part of the community counseling group in Bucyrus for over 20 years. Corey enjoyed music and loved to watch and collect movies, especially those starring John Wayne.
In addition to his father, Corey is survived by his brother, Colin Thornsberry of Centerville, and his three aunts; Zandra Fuller, of Texas, Marysue Barberena, of Texas and Kathleen Smucker of Galion.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 11:00am until the time of the service at 12:00pm, at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, Ohio, with Tommy Watts, officiating. Burial will follow at Dapper Cemetery.
