Don Earle Feik, 87, of Crestline passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Crestline Nursing home.
Don was born in Crestline on March 30, 1935, to the late Earle and Hazel (Morkel) Feik. On September 14, 1958, he married Norma (McCarthy) Feik, and she preceded him in death on April 11, 2011.
Don was a 1953 graduate of Crestline High School. After High School, Don would serve in the Army National Guard for several years. Don worked for Shearers Dairy as a milkman prior to being employed with PPG until his retirement.
Don was a member of several clubs, including the VFW Post 2920, Crestline, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #859, Crestline, the American Legion Post 488, Crestline and the AMVETS Post #31, Ontario. An outdoorsman at heart, Don enjoyed to camp, hunt, fish, riding his snow mobile, water skiing, and boating. If he wasn't outside, Don was catching a game of his favorite teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, or the Cleveland Indians. Most importantly, Don treasured his time spent with his daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter; Cheryl (Roger) Clark of Crestline; 3 grandchildren; Amber Morgan of Crestline, Westley Morgan of Crestline, and Justin Morgan of Bucyrus; and 8 great-grandchildren; Ashlie, Raven, Bryson, Piper, Owen, Cameryn, Aryella, and his birthday buddy, Paisley.
In addition to his parents and wife, Don was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Sue Feik and great-grandson, Cayden Jacob Oney
Friends may call on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home; 223 W. Main St., Crestline. The funeral service will be held immediately following with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating, burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
