Frank Joseph Loesing, 82, of Galion, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in OhioHealth Hospital, Mansfield.
Frank was born in Vreden, Germany on November 13, 1937 to the late Anton and Katharina (Gotzcky) Loesing. Frank cherished his memories with his long-time companion, the late Lillian Chapis.
As a young adult, Frank came to the United States from Germany, establishing a life in Chicago, IL. Upon retirement, Frank found his way to Crestline to be with Lillian Chapis. He was a gifted woodworker and made beautiful cabinetry. Frank raised chickens and enjoyed gardening. He loved his rescue dogs, Molly and Brandy.
Frank is survived by his sister, Frances M. TePoele, Mountain Home, AR; his nephew, Tom TePoele, Mountain Home, AR; his niece, Cindy (Kevin) Brady, Escondido, CA, and his special friend, Lyn Chapis, Crestline.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Henry TePoele.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
