Frankie L Vanhoosier

Frankie L. Vanhoosier, 63 of Crestline, formerly of Bucyrus, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Galion Avita Hospital.

Frankie was born on August 1, 1959, to the late Emery and Elva (Carender) Vanhoosier. He was married to Barbara Engler for many years.

After graduating from high school, Frankie went on to work for Check Mate in Bucyrus. He would later work for RNR Donley in Willard and was there for more than twenty years before his retirement. Frankie was a lover of all animals, but dogs were his favorite. He also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheel Cars.

Frankie is survived by his step-son, Derek Engler; nephew, Emery Zarcone of Bucyrus; niece, Angela (William) Mason of Bucyrus and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Frankie is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Zarcone.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
