Franklin D Stidham

Franklin D. Stidham, 72, of Crestline, passed away on January 15, 2020 in Avita Galion Hospital, Galion.

Franklin was born in Blue Diamond, KY on October 22, 1947 to the late Thomas and Dosha (Begley) Stidham. He married Brenda I. (Mills) Stidham on October 16, 1971 and she survives him.

Franklin has lived in the area for eleven years, coming from Taylor, Michigan. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company and retired after 39 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting, wood working, and camping. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #934 in Bellville, Michigan. Franklin loved his dogs and cats.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers and sister; Thomas (Esther) Stidham, Jr., Las Vegas, NV; Wilma Stidham, Michigan; Roger Stidham, Garden City, Michigan, John (Yvonne) Stidham, Detroit, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Franklin was preceded in death by his siblings; Opal Sweett, Ronnie Stidham, Betty Stidham, Bill Stidham, and Lucy Blanton.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St, Crestline, with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society in memory of Franklin D. Stidham, in care of the funeral home.
