Hailey Marie “Bug” Thompson, 21, of Galion passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Hailey was born in Galion, Ohio on June 18, 1999, to Brian K. and Heather (Gray) Thompson and they survive her.
Hailey was a very loving and giving young woman. She enjoyed shopping and loved being on the water going boating and kayaking. She loved vacationing and going to the beach. There was never a day that Hailey wasn't full of life. Hailey loved her dog "Cujo" and she loved being with her friends and family as often as life allowed her.
She graduated from Galion High School, Class of 2017. Hailey worked as an Instructional Assistant for the last 1 1/2 years for the Columbus City Schools. She loved her job where she was a protector of her "Little People".
In addition to her parents, Brian and Heather, Hailey is survived by her grandparents, Gary Gray, Pamela Gray, and Erma Thompson; her sisters, Cassie (Jonathan McKenzie) Thompson, and Kaytlin (Tony Ceccacci) Roston; her aunts, Larrissa (Luke) Cali, Toyi (Dannie) Cooper, Tara (Shane) Welch, Tanya (Scott) Kintner; cousins, Brytni Warren, Zachary Axline, Skyler Axline, Andrew Axline, Raegan Welch, Ashtyn Welch, Torren Cali, Kieron Cali, Kaelan Cali, Rowan Cali; second cousins, Jayden, Maliyah, Khloe, Ayvah, Madilyn, and Maddox.
Her boyfriend, Teddy Brook.
Braydin Fisher, who was her special little buddy, Shea Fisher, Jordan Bowlby, Naudia Basilone; as well as many more friends and family.
Hailey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cecil Thompson.
Friends may call on Monday, July 6, 2020, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Grace Point, 683 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Grace Point, with Pastor Paul Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
