Harold Lee Lewis, 68, of Galion passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home after a brief illness.
Lee was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on September 9, 1953 to the late Harold E. and Mary Belle (Skaggs) Lewis.
Lee started his own company called Leak Seekers and continued to work for 25 years where he specialized in water line leaks until his retirement. He graduated from Colonel Crawford High School, Class of 1971. Harold enjoyed nature where he loved watching and feeding birds and squirrels. You would often find Lee watching his favorite events on the TV such as car racing or his favorite football teams "OSU" and "Bengals". In Lee's spare time, he loved golfing at the Winchester Golf Course. Lee was an avid animal lover but especially adored his cat "Sissy".
Lee is survived by his special friend of 22 years, Lola Moore of Galion; sons, Nathan Lewis of Loveland, Ohio, Brian Lewis of Findlay; step-daughter, Staci (Chase) Johnson of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Anna Lewis, Rianna Lewis, Araya Johnson, Stoan Johnson, Nick Sims, Karter Sims; brothers, Michael (Hope) Lewis of Bucyrus; and sister, Rosa Anna (Dale) Phillips of Florida.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lewis and Mary Lewis; step-daughter, Christina Moore; brother, Darrell Lewis; and a sister, Donna Downing.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Oakwood Cemetery, 835 Kaler Avenue, Bucyrus, Ohio.
