Helen Elizabeth Bogner, 95, of Crestline, passed away on December 21, 2020 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby, Ohio.
Helen was born in Greentown, Indiana, on July 14, 1925 to the late Roscoe and Grace (Petty) Dawson. She married Earl F. Bogner on November 30, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1999.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed baking for her family. Helen and her husband became “snowbirds” in the winter, traveling to Florida to escape the cold winters in Ohio. Her family meant the world to her, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish Helen's memory are her sons; Mark Bogner, Sandusky; Dean (Nancy) Bogner, Cincinnati; her five grandchildren; Chad Bogner, Krista Sowers, Jennifer Nugent, Dean Bogner, Jr., Jacqulyn Miller, and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings; Eileen Braker, Betty Eldred, Robert Dawson and Jack Dawson; and daughter-in-law, Gaye Bogner.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Jeff Smith officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
