Irene Queen, 75, of Crestline, passed away on May 10, 2019 at Avita Ontario Hospital in Ontario.
Irene was born in Wharton, OH on March 10, 1944 to the late William Henry and Polly (Branham) Phillips. She married Theodore J. Queen on March 28, 1975 and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2011.
Irene had worked in retail, most recently at Meijer in Ontario. Irene loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed riding horses and attending horse shows.
Irene is survived by her sons, Randy (Patsy) Scully of Green Cove Springs, FL and Ralph "Tony" (Cindy) Scully of Crestline; her stepchildren, Jack Queen of Crestline, and Jane Underwood of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Ashley, Robert, Caitlin, Jessica, Suncearae, Bethany, Randy Jr., and Brittany; her stepgrandchildren, Lief, Erika, Kristie, Donald, Tiffany, Nathan, Matthew, Julieanna, and Benjamin; numerous great-grandchildren; and her two sisters, Nora (Dewey) Marks of Galion; and Jean Barker of Texas.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three stepchildren, Shelly Lacy, Rick Queen, and Raymond Queen; and two brothers, John Marcus Phillips and Jimmy Phillips.
Friends may call on from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Crestline.
