Jackie "Jack" Kinslow Obituary

Jackie "Jack" Kay Kinslow, 85 of Galion passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Jack was born in Monmouth, Illinois on June 25, 1937, to the late Ambrose and Darlene (Wood) Kinslow. On March 13, 2013, he would marry Phyllis "Jeanne" Hitchcock, and she would proceed him in death on May 17, 2022.

Jack was a 1955 graduate of Biggsville High School, after graduation, he would serve his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. After his time in the Air Force, Jack would work for many different Sheriff's departments as an officer, spending most of his time working in the jail.

Jack is survived by his children: Debby McWhorter of Westminster, Colorado and JR Kinslow of Abilene, Texas; step-children: Robin (Steve Francis) Lynne of Key West, Florida, Chris Beaver of San Salvador, El Salvador, Dawn Waddell of Galion, Angel (John) Barone of Galion, Sheila (Thom) Tupps of Lexington, Mike Butterfield of Galion, and Kenny Butterfield of Galion; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Jack will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 3:00pm at Iberia Cemetery. Pastor Danny Akers will be officiating.
