Jacqualine Marie Heilman, 91, formerly of Crestline, passed away at her daughter’s home in Mansfield, on February 10, 2021.
Jacqualine was born in Bellevue on March 23, 1929 to the late Gomer Hodgson and Pearl (Klink) Wood. Due to her father’s early passing, she was raised by her stepfather, the late Lowell Wood. She married Herbert E. Heilman on July 27, 1947, and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2013.
Jacqualine was a wonderful homemaker and member of the Wesley Chapel Church in Galion. She was also a member of; Galion Women of the Moose, Chapter 177, and of Crestline, VFW Post 2920 Auxiliary, American Legion Post 488 Auxiliary; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #859 Auxiliary.
Jacqualine is survived by two daughters; Bette Heilman, Galion; Kathryn (Rick) Campbell, Mansfield; two grandchildren; Toby (Melanie) Campbell, Mount Pleasant, NC; Stephanie Manuella; Lexington; six great-grandchildren; Christian (Jessi) Campbell, Keagan Campbell, Madalyn Campbell, Olivia Manuella, Derek Manuella, Trevor Manuella; great-great grandchild, Charlotte Campbell; sister, Donna Linn, Crestline, a half-sister Maxine Stelzer, Bexley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jacqualine was preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Ted) Lorton, her two brothers, Robert Wood and Bill Wood.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, in care of the funeral home.
In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks are strongly suggested to be worn at the graveside.
