Jacqueline "Jackie" Kay (Iiams) Saurers

Jacqueline “Jackie” Kay Saurers, 77, of Crestline, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Hudson, Ohio.

Jackie was born on April 24, 1943 in Crestline, Ohio to the late Merald Iiams and Madelyn (Forman) Anatra.

Jackie graduated from Crestline High School, Class of 1961. She was a long time member of the Crestline Lion’s Club and loved her community. Jackie was matriarch of her family, family was her life. She had a vibrant personality, always happy, had a huge heart and loved people and their life stories. She was a giver with a generous heart and spirit, always helping others.

Jackie is survived by her children, Tonia (Bill) Peacock, Hudson, OH, Richard Saurers, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA; siblings, George (Carol) Iiams, Bucyrus, Lillian Iiams, Crestline, June (Ron) Studer, Crestline, Bart (Elizabeth) Anatra, Crestline; grandchildren, Aaron Christoffersen, William Peacock IV, Jennifer Oakley, Lauren Grant, Richie Saurers, Chae Saurers, Madison Saurers and seven great-grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her step-mother, Thelma (Krichbaum) Iiams; step-father, Bart Anatra; sister, Brenda Neff; former husband Dick Saurers, Sr.

The family will observe a private family service with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.

In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks will now be required to enter the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lion’s Club in care of the funeral home.
