James R. Montgomery, 85, Galion, passed away at home on Thursday, March 17, 2022, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 22, 1937, in Greenup County, Kentucky. James married the former Marjorie Johnston on April 26, 1958, and she survives.
James loved yearly salmon fishing trips to "That state up north", bowling and gardening. He treasured the times spent on annual family camping trips to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee which they have done for the last 50 years. In addition to 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
