John Earl Sheets

John Earl Sheets, 92, passed away on March 7, 2022 at Signature Health Care of Galion, Ohio of natural causes.

John was born in Symmes Township on April 19, 1929 to the late Charles and Nevva (Wiseman) Sheets. John was united in marriage to his first wife, Virginia. She preceded him in death. John found love again and married Elsie E. Randolph on August 25, 2005 who also preceded John in death on August 19, 2018.

John proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War, serving as a Corporal in the 101st Airborne Division, receiving The Bronze Star. John found his enjoyment of being a carpenter. He loved to go camping and was an avid member of the NRA.

John is survived by his four stepchildren; Jackie (Alicia) Randolph, Mansfield, Harold (Peggy) Randolph, Galion, Rodney (Whitney) Randolph, Galion, and Alan Randolph, Galion; brother; Dan Sheets, Nashville, TN.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, Niece; Tammy Sheets.

In addition to his parents and wives, John was preceded by his daughter; Ginger Segura.

A private burial will take place at Obetz Cemetery.
