Johnny William Schubert

Johnny William Schubert, III, 41, of Crestline, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home.

Johnny was born in Galion, Ohio on September 1, 1979, to Johnny William and Rozalia Ann (McGinty) Schubert, Jr., both of Crestline.

Johnny was a graduate of Crestline High School, Class of 1999.  He looked forward to attending all of his niece’s cross-country meets.  Johnny was also involved in the Crawford County 4H Club where he shared many memories with his niece. Johnny enjoyed bowling, gaming and dogs were a big part of his life.  He was active in his high school marching band and the show choir. Johnny loved being around people and the Sam’s Club family.  

In addition to his parents, Johnny is survived by his sister, Marlene (Scott Sanders) Schubert, Crestline; his niece, Elizabeth Schubert; his grandfather, Johnny William Schubert, Sr.; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald McGinty, Elizabeth McGinty Colegrove; and  Eula Schubert.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline, Ohio.

In accordance with the Governor’s mandate, masks will now be required to enter the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County 4H Club, in care of the funeral home.
