Kevin Jay Hart, 49, passed away on May 2, 2022, at Avita Health System of Galion.
Kevin was born on May 9, 1972, in Bucyrus to Dennis and Cindy (Fetter) Hart.
Kevin was currently employed at the Timken Company as the Operation Coordinator. He was an active member of the Galion Elks Lodge BPOE #1191, Loyal Order of Moose #303, Galion, Galion Owls Aerie #4008, and AMVETS Post #1979, Galion. After graduating high school, Kevin joined the United States Army where he served from 1990 - 1993. With an outgoing personality, Kevin never met a stranger and was a social butterfly who always enjoyed meeting people. Kevin enjoyed golfing where he met many of his friends through golf organizations. He loved his friendships and held the ones he loved, close to his heart always. His daughter, who he affectionately called "Livido", was his pride and joy and the light of his life. He loved her very much and was so very proud of her.
Left to treasure his memory are his parents; Denny and Cindy Hart, Galion, daughter; Olivia Hart, Morgantown, West Virginia, brother; Scott Hart, Mansfield, sister; Krista (Troy) Cramer, Lexington, nieces and nephews; Trevor Cramer, Nathan Cramer, Madeline Cramer, and Gage Hart, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Maynard and Margaret Fetter and paternal grandparents; Robert and Elizabeth Hart.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Schneider-Gompf funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Olivia Hart for assistance with her college education or to the donor's choice.
