Levi Yoder

Levi Yoder Jr., 78, passed away on January 7, 2022 in Crestline, Ohio.

Levi was born in Holmes County, Ohio, on September 24, 1943 to late Levi and Ada (Miller) Yoder. He married Beverly Sue McCullough, on August 23rd, 1997 in Wooster, Ohio.

Levi was a dedicated employee at Wayne-Dalton for 20 years. He enjoyed slow pitch softball, bowling, woodworking and fishing as he was a member of Columbus Angler Fishing Club for the Deaf, Mansfield Deaf Club and Mid-Ohio Bowling for the Deaf and attended The Columbus School for the Deaf. Levi was a member of North Fairfield Assembly of God.

Levi is survived by wife Beverly Yoder; daughter Shelly (Josh) Friley of Crestline and Tracy Schifferly of Bucyrus and three grandchildren; Isaac, Olivia and Roman whom he dearly loved. He is also survived by two sisters, Nettie Yoder and Alma Troyer and 3 brothers, Alvin Yoder, Wayne Yoder and Abe Yoder.

Levi was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Ella Yoder, Fannie Swartentuber and infant sister as well as two brothers, Robert Yoder and Ivan Yoder.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 11, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main Street, Crestline. Pastor Joseph Green officiating.
