Lillie Doris Carpenter, 93, of Galion, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2024. Lillie was born to the late parents of Richard and Bessie (Ewing) Davis on May 11, 1931.

A woman of many talents and passions, Lillie dedicated her early years to raising her children and creating a warm, loving home for her family. She found fulfillment in her role as a homemaker and brought comfort and happiness to those she cared for. In addition to her role as a devoted mother, she worked at North Electric for 7 years and many years at Law The Florist Greenhouse, where she shared her love for gardening with others.

Lillie had a creative spirit and enjoyed expressing herself through various hobbies, including crocheting, painting, and gardening. She had a knack for technology and embraced the world of computers. These interests brought her immense joy and allowed her to share her talents with those around her. She looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren.

Lillie is survived by her loving children: Russell (Becky) Rivers, of Tompkinsville, KY, Greg (Leshia) Rivers, of Ontario, Max Rivers, of Polk City, FL, Joyce (Mike) Rarick, of Bucyrus, Darlene (Tony, Sr.) Lawson, of Galion, and Gail Vanderkooi, of Galion, 14 grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by; her husband; Otto Carpenter, siblings; Bertha Taylor, Lela Rose, Ida Carpenter, Ruth Davis, Harry Davis, Charlie Davis, and Eathau Alcot.
