Linda Kay Brocklesby

Linda K. Brocklesby, 73, of Galion passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Signature Healthcare of Galion after an extended illness.

Linda was born in Peoria, Illinois on August 21, 1946, to the late Richard V. and Glenna J. (Hoffman) Johnston.

Linda worked as a dietary aide at the former Rosewood Manor and the Atwood Nursing Home. She was a life member of the American Legion Scarborough Post #243, Galion, VFW Post #4329, Galion, and Amvets Post #27, Bucyrus. Linda was a crafter and loved doing plastic canvas. She was an avid animal lover but especially enjoyed horses, wolves, and dogs. Linda enjoyed attending and watching tractor pulls. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Linda was very proud of all her family.

Linda is survived by her son, Christopher Brocklesby and fiancé Mary Hildebrand of Crestline; her daughter, Melissa (Victor) Connard of Elyria; her grandchildren, Brian Brocklesby, Jessica Brocklesby, Heather Anne Hildebrand, and Steven Hildebrand; numerous great-grandchildren; her former husband, James C. Brocklesby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Anne Cash and her brother, Richard D. Johnston.
