Linda Ann (Evans) Groves

Linda Ann Groves, 72, of Crestline, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Avita Hospital in Galion, OH.

Linda was born in Marion, on January 8, 1949 to the late Robert and Betty (Stoffer) Evans. She married John A. Groves on June 22, 2003 and he survives her in Crestline.

Linda graduated from Mount Gilead High School, Class of 1967. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2920 Auxiliary in Crestline. Linda was an excellent fundraiser and very instrumental in raising funds for the “Field of Dreams”. She was such a good-hearted soul and would spend her time knitting blankets for the VA. Linda was very fond of her “M & M Boys”, her dogs, Max & Mickey.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Robbie Horton of Missouri; her step-daughter, Chanda Groves of Upper Sandusky; three grandchildren; her sister, Susan Shatzer, and her brother, Butch Evans, both of Crestline.

Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in care of the funeral home.
