Luella Marie (Meyers) Snyder

Luella Marie Snyder, 90, of Galion passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Avita Hospital Ontario. She was born on February 15, 1931 to the late Paul and Martha (Parr) Gantzler.

Luella married her second husband Norman Snyder, whom she spent 30 years of marriage with prior to his passing.

Luella was a 1949 graduate of Leesville High School. She was a longtime member of Calvary United Church of Christ in Crestline. Luella loved her jewelry which drove her to own and operate several jewelry stores over the years. After her ventures in jewelry stores, Luella would work several years at the Balloon Factory in Minnesota. Luella was an avid bowler, and she loved watching baseball. She enjoyed her mornings spent with her friends at their 'Breakfast Club' meetups.

Left to cherish her memories are her three children; Sheila Nulk of Galion, Larry Wise of Galion, and Patrick (Chandra) Wise of Crestline; one sister; Ruby Kempf of Galion; five grandchildren; Melissa Evans, Steven (Jacquelyn) Greanya, Misty (Brandon) Stricklin, Logan Wise, and Cassie Jarvis; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and second husband, Luella was preceded in death by two brothers and one-half brother.

Luella wished to be buried with Norman Snyder at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Florida.
